Being an environmentalist, I am very concerned about climate change. We need to take action now. If we leave this problem for our children, it will be too late. The children are our future. What do we want to leave them with? I hope it is good practices and an interest in our environment. To that end, I am most excited to be the Environmental Chairman for the Garland ISD Council of PTAs. We have many great programs to share. If your children attend GISD schools (Garland, Rowlett, & Sachse), I hope you will choose to become involved as well. Looking for interested parents to join the cause. Just contact me and I will put you to work.
